Graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2010, her academic journey was distinguished not only by her accomplishments but by her deep-rooted dedication to pro bono work.

Stephanie’s remarkable journey towards becoming a legal luminary began with a staggering 240 hours of service through the Midwest Innocence Project and the Death Penalty Litigation Clinic. These early endeavors served as the bedrock upon which her impactful legal career would be built.

With licenses to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and multiple United States District Courts spanning across various states, Stephanie exemplifies her commitment to serving communities across jurisdictional boundaries.

A consummate Criminal Trial Attorney, Stephanie brings to the table a wealth of trial experience. Her extensive trial experience encompasses a plethora of jury and bench trials, in both State and Federal Courts, focusing on high-stakes cases such as homicides, violent crimes, and federal conspiracy cases. Her reputation as an ethical and formidable advocate is well-earned.

Stephanie's impact extends beyond the courtroom, playing a pivotal role in shaping policy and best practices for Conviction Integrity Units, ultimately leading to the exoneration of wrongfully convicted individuals. Her expertise in jury selection has made her a sought-after consultant, offering valuable insights to fellow attorneys in search of a fair and impartial jury.

Not content with her legal achievements, Stephanie's commitment to public service is unwavering. As a Missouri State Public Defender Panel attorney, she assists the Missouri State Public Defender's office with overload and conflict cases, ensuring access to justice for all members of her community.
